<Everything in that article has been known except that GWB signed an authorization for assassination. That has been forbidden to the covert services as unbecoming a civilized nation.

This should be changed. Wiping out thousands of soldiers while the guys who start the wars sit in air-conditioned offices is also unbecoming a civilized nation*. I think we should not only make assassination legal, but the preferred method of warfare. The rest of us can sit back and eat popcorn while our leaders are knocking each other off on a regular basis. Slowly, but surely, the gene for wanting to control other people's lives may be weeded out of the human race.

I have been wondering why the First Cheerleader is tipping his hand. Over and over and over. That won't make life easier for the Americans who will go after Saddam, if they do. In fact, Bush's bluster might make life over for some of them.
