Castro to formalize eternal Cuban totalitarianism
Fidel Castro will convene his puppet parliament to nail down the "untouchability" of socialism in Cuba, a response to the Valera Project (the news story misspells it), a petition to bring human freedom issues before the National Assembly. The Valera petition gained 11,000 signature, which according to written Cuban law is enough to bring it before the Assembly.
The Valeran petition was in fact delivered to the Assembly, where in accordance with longstanding socialist tradition of wiping one's butt with written laws that do not advance the socialist agenda at that time, it will no doubt be dutifully ignored.
