Or perhaps he feels with the space commands integrated it will be easier in the future to install and implement and maintain missile defense?

Perhaps he feels there'll be faster data transfer through a combined GOCom?

Or perhaps it is a way the executive branch can create a more "controllable" environment by restructuring?

I'm sure there's a good reason in there somewhere...it's just a matter of finding it.
