On the basis of current information connectivity standard, USA and Canada would have failed just 5-6 years ago. We're cutting edge, why would we expect Arabs to be following so closely behind us. If they were, they would have nuclear power, nuclear weapons, their own manned space programs & satellites, competitive automotive manufacturing, microchip manufacturing, etc.
