It's a potentially extremely dangerous situation! If the middle class joins the Islamist groups and there are killings on the increase, Musharraf's position will become more and more fragile.
This is precisely why declarations such as "If you're not with us, you're against us" or the "Axis of Evil" can have huge devastating consequences.
