If he were alive, I think they'd prove it rather than mumbling around.
And then again, if I were OBL, I'd want people to think I was dead. You wouldn't find me holding a press conference.
But then if people thought I was dead, what would happen to my bank accounts? Maybe I wouldn't want that.
I also suspect that the statement might be politically inspired, sorta covering GWBs butt for his promise to deliver OBL to us. As the man said, he had no information.
