There is ample evidence that they support terror through their mosques, schools, various associations and even our prison system. It would be foolish for this country to permit one of our freedoms to destroy many (perhaps all) of the constitutional freedoms we now enjoy.

President Bush is confronted with some major international problems. Any one of them has the potential for catastrophic consequences. All of these problems have a common thread. That thread is Islam.

Yet, he continues to characterize Islam as a peaceful and loving religion. I question this view.

Dealing with problems of this magnitude requires a uniform anti-terrorist policy and some stern measures in order to achieve success. We are already hearing the hue and cry of the liberals in this country, aided and abetted by the media, over the potential loss of some our constitutional rights.

We are engaged in a worldwide war with Islamic-sponsored terrorism. To the best of my knowledge, the United States has never been involved in a major conflict when some of our constitutional rights were not sacrificed.
