PTSD
Post traumatic stress disorder.
These Special Forces must have been depleted of every ounce of spiritual strength they could muster. They must have been witness to to the true horrors of war, things that will never make the news. They must have been so frustrated with the vision of death, that they destroyed the very last of the love that could have saved them from the harsh realities of war.
If this is the new breed of warrior, perhaps we should be looking at how we train our "special forces".
