One might ask a similar question about tourism. But you know, Ed, it's the Holy Land. Religion has a way of overruling mere reason about personal safety. I wouldn't go there... but I don't have the cultural indoctrination from the cradle, let alone generations before me. I became a Jew on my own hock, so to speak, free of previously-owned baggage.
And what would you do if your one or more of your kids was murdered in this way?
