Unless he starts a Big War, I would give the Rs only a 50-50 chance of running GWB again. He's tainted in a business-commercial-financial way that Clinton was in a personal morality way.

And, GWB is guarding the Harken files as if they were a blue dress.

We'll see. But if the Ds win big this November, look for a Republican war. Big war, to last through 2004. War to end all wars, war to end terrorism, war to ensure free enterprise and a flow of energy through at least 2050, a war to enshrine GWB.

The middle, the people who vote and remember, those people are gonna remember GWB ran as a moderate and turned fundamental, right-wing Christian against 'em.

And, GWB would need more votes in a fair election, where votes counted, than he got last time.
