Kuwait Ready for Emergency In Case of U.S. Strike Against Iraq

KUWAIT CITY -- Xinhuanet
Kuwait is ready for any emergency in case of a possible US strike against Iraq, Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah stressed on Monday.

Sheikh Sabah made the remark following a National Assembly (parliament) Foreign Affairs Committee meeting.

The minister assured that all the citizens in Kuwait, including foreigners, will get necessary food and medicine in the urgent situation.

Sheikh Sabah denied that the Kuwaiti government has received anynews of information regarding a possible US attack against Iraq.
