Any country in the Middle East, particularly bordering Afghanistan, had better be prepping. There's a lot more at stake there than something as nice as free speech and opinions. It's a hot region that is nearing the smelting point, and when the metals start to flow, I have little doubt Musharraf would like them flowing in the right direction -- toward him, and a unified Pakistan.
