Out of what belfrey did that come? Taking hostages is no more peaceful than shooting (or blowing) up a wedding party. No more peaceful than blowing up a bomb shelter.

Clearly, with this administration the end justifies the means. Killing innocent civilians as a way to stop the killing of innocent civilians is an example. Doesn't count, "just kidding" they say, if there might have been a legitimate target somewhere around. What would taking a few hostages matter to these people?

But peaceful? Don't know where you get some of these things. Sometimes I hope they make sense to you, and then sometimes I'm afraid they do.
