Yeah? Ask a Frenchman how he feels about Franglais, McDonalds, Disneyland, or pretty much any influence whatsoever from America.
Most Europeans are into "cultural diversity" like cats are into baths.
That being said, you are of course largely correct, within limits I have stated before. Which is one reason America is as successful as it is, while provincial nations tend to fall behind.
