Make 9-11 a national remembrance holiday
I disagree that the day of the attack should be made a holiday. It isn't appropriate. Dec. 7, 1941 isn't a holiday either, and for the same reasons. Hold the thought though...we have celebrated overwhelming victories over our enemies with holidays. Be patient. ;)
As for Labor Day, I don't think anyone sees it as a socialist holiday now, even though it may have had roots there.
