The People's Republic of Berkeley has apparently backed down at least somewhat, from their anti-American approach to the 9/11 remembrances.
The Chancellor complains mightily, bemoaning the possibility of the event becoming "political." This is gut-busting hilarious coming from a group of people who make EVERYTHING political when the politics is in their direction. What he really means is that he doesn't want it to turn into a pro-American, anti-terrorist event.
For God's sake, this wasn't an industrial accident. We were ATTACKED.
