Chamberlain talked with the leader of a country which wanted to commit unprovoked aggression upon a smaller country. That leader wanted the resources of the smaller country.
Blair, well, um. Let's move on.
Chamberlain heard this leader say that he had taken over other countries before as the aggressor in order to protect his people. Still, according to Chamberlain’s talks, that leaders people still weren’t safe.
Blair – gee.
Chamberlain heard this leader say that he wanted to commit preventative aggression, he wanted to protect his people through aggression.
Blair – Huh. Seems like the same thing.
Chamberlain said that it was OK, this leader said this was the last country he wanted to take by aggression.
Blair – hmm. Blair did the same thing.
Chamberlain watched this leader set up phony “provocations”, sort of like the Gulf of Tonkin later.
Blair – well, those provocations are just being set up.
(As I recall, Blair had a lip-lock on Clinton, too. Sort of seamlessly slid it from Clintons left cheek to Bush’s right.)
But, that’s beyond many people. Even though a box of rocks would see the similarities screaming at them.
Arf (never thought I’d feel sorry for the Brits. Wonder how the folks who will shed Brit blood for Bush oil feel about it.
And that phony WMD issue. Reagan-Bush drew up battle plans for Iraq using them. So much for morality here. Must be oil.
Chamberlain and, well, Blair.
