Major attack or routine mission?
Much was made a few days ago about an air raid on southern Iraq. A few talk radio shows were trumpeting it. To read this story one would think it was the first wave of something big.
However, in most of the press, when you can find the story at all, the story makes it sound like it's just one of many routine attacks to take out antiaircraft facilities. It has raised no fuss at all.
Which is it? "Single biggest operation in four years," or just one more among "hundreds of missions since...1991?"
