On the 700 Club today, Pat Robertson said that in Iraq there are 3,000,000 Christians, who are subsidized and protected by Saddam Hussein.

According to Robertson, Christians founded the B'aath Party, which is Hussein's. Saddam also protects Christians from attacks by Muslims.

He went on to say that in the event Hussein were deposed, there would probably be an intense civil war, with Kurds, Shi'ites, B'aaths and Christians, among others, fighting amongst themselves as well as against any invader.

Robertson ended that segment by stating a hope there was a comprehensive plan which would protect people.

Kinda surprised me.

My addition. I suspect the planning stops at how to loot the oil fields, how to protect those from other powers and companies, how to get Halliburton in there as fast as possible. So the money can be used by Iraqis, of course, for schools, hospitals, food, medicine, and so on.

And by Halliburton for dividends and political contributions.
