This is a repsonse to a tread below, but it expands to cover more issues...

Muslims are not all filthy, uneducated heathens. And the concept of heathens is foreign to one without a religious affiliation.

The literacy rate is 58% in most of the middle east. Most of those are men. For women the rate drops to about 15%.

This would imply that large masses of the population indeed are uneducated. Many of the ones who are counted among the literate would probably compare to a fifth grade level education.

The problem with this is very devious. By depriving women, who are generally the calming, balancing sex, of their educations, they create an environment more rabid and animalistic in its civil affairs. Mothers cannot educate their children regarding history or morality other than the vengeance word of mouth rhetoric they have heard from the Koran. They live in constant fear if they say anything that contradicts this primitive text.

Yes, 9 out of 10 muslim women cannot even read the Koran to which they avow firm faith in!

They are told by men, what their religion is and they follow in worthless obedience.

So many in these nations, who have any education at all, have the education level of a US fourth grader. Naturally, this arrests emotional development as well. Part of a well developed mind comes from having absorbed much knowledge of history, social affairs and the outcomes of the pages of history.

When these folks move to Europe on work visas or claim "asylum" just to be given an automatic two years while their claim is investigated, they bring this uneducated, harsh outlook with them.

When the visiting Turk for example looks at an unveiled German women he passes on the street he may whisper "Whore!" as she passes or shout it out loud and accost her with threats if she is unfortunate to be passing through a muslim slum.

This is because he is so indoctrinated in women's worthlessness and the demand for veils, etc., that he cannot fathom a unveiled woman in public who is NOT a whore. Logically he knows this is a different country with a different system, yet emotionally his veiled mother and the indoctrination of womens place in the home cannot be overcome.

This is why these terrorists can live in Germany, Belgium, France or the UK and still NOT become westernized as we would expect. They live in neighborhoods which bring the third world to these countries and veils and customs are still in full force.

In America we find this hard to imagine. Yet the hatred of western freedoms and women "whores" who go around unveiled, is often stronger than ever among these muslims!

Literally their mindset and their outdated pagan faith is incompatible with the modernm western world.

Their are hard working muslims who do not pose terrorist threats. But these folks are the more educated ones who alse are not extreme orthodox muslims.

The more they subscribe to the Koran's rhetoric - the more dangerous they become. The orthodox muslim looks down upon these other muslims as sellouts.

Naturally in countries where muslim law (the Law of the Koran) is applied - these more educated persons have no voice at all. This leads to the abysmal stagnation in these countries and paints a sad picture for future growth.

In fact 9-11 is testament to the growing disparity between progressive westward culture, thinking and technology and the backward, archaic culture of orthodox muslim nations.

Christianity, for all its numerous faults, has at least attempted to stay current and change with history. Not so with the muslim religion which is still living, for all intents and purposes in 200AD.

Freedom of speech? Not a chance. The posts we make here would mark ALL of us for death in a muslim nation.

Freedom of Religion? Sure, if its belief in the Koran.

Womens rights? The right to be veiled and covered from head to toe. The right to be stoned, murdered and brutalised at any time for the most trifling issue.

Think-tanks are doing exactly this kind of analysis. When the muslim infrastructure is resistant to updating - what sort of conflicts are the natural result?

Is there any hope for moderates to update the muslim religion? With the abysmal education outlook this is unlikely. St. Jerome, countless kings, popes, etc. could rewrite the bible - but that requires a greater literacy rate and more established religious infrastructure than exists in the muslim religion.

The Koran certainly will not be rewritten or updated by the meteorite in Mecca.

So this paints a bleak picture.

Indeed these nations will likely pose greater and greater conflicts with the west as the west spreads democracy, freedom for women, technology, etc. throughout the world.

When did Europe's problems really start? In Germany right after the war they began to issue "Worker Visas" a streamlined process for allowing foreign (mostly Italian) workers in to help rebuild the devastation of the allied bombing.

These worker Visas are insidious. Just like slavery in the US - it introduced a different class of people into the nation - generally increasing crime and violence. Although at the time the shortage of able bodied men demanded it.

As time passed and Germany's population stabilized - the worker visa program did not end. In fact, it expanded as more and more nearby nations immersed in destitute poverty saw the worker visa as an escape from their ghettoes.

This was the start of the great immigrant influx in Europe. In France, the influx was due to the cessation of their muslim North African holdings and the immediate muslim tide that came in as the result of their failed brutal occupation.

Later the fall of the east Germany and the porous borders of the east allowed not only more lifelong communist-minded folks into Germany and europe, but muslims from Turkey and further south.

The current political leadership in Germany is due to the degradation of the voter masses - many being former or present communists and extreme leftists.

This party has dragged Germany to its lowest level in decades. Crime is very high. The "native" germans are overwhelmed and assaulted by the influx of eastern Germans who demand their free ride - and bring the awful communist work ethic with them.

Combine it all and you have a BIG mess.

That is whyy now there are fruitful and multiplying numbers of terrorists in Europe.

The European muslims as a whole may not all be terrorists. But even if ten percent of them hold sympathies with Bin Laden and an orthodox muslim perspective - that is tens of thousands of potential terrorists!

Now do you see why europeans are afraid to commit to Iraq or recognize a problem?

If the Europeans were Trojans...

They have let in the Trojan Horse - and its countless hidden soldiers. Once they see the threat, their response is to praise the Greeks lurking within with flattery and appeasement and pretend they too are really Greeks!

Will that work? Will the Greeks be so overwhelmed with their praise and accomodation that they will forget they are Greeks?
