I was talking about Afghanistan. Nowhere did I mention Iraq in those posts.

As far as Iraq goes, Bush will be happy with the oil fields, won't care how long it takes to subdue Baghdad and the mountains. The longer the better, what the hell. Won't affect the pumping, paying the vig.

Will bomb to do that, minimize casualties and all that. As far as Iraq goes, they are already talking about staying there forever. It will take a couple of generations, as they hate us now, and we are turning out to be bad occupiers. The folks in the Middle East don't like their neighbors being killed unnecessarily.
