The newsworthy part.
(They didn't get shot up by a C-130 Spectre crew looking to get a medals!) "We were just flying by and took fire. The ROEs say to engage, so we spent the next couple of hours mowing 'em down.
Hundreds? Out of how many in the area?
Where there hundreds of gov't troops getting out the hundreds of people cheering?
What's newsworthy about this. I mean, you know "hundreds" of people didn't just show up downtown to cheer the gov't without someone sponsoring it, and if in an area the size of Kandahar they couldn't get more than "hundreds", they ain't doin' all that well.
