Heard on the radio tonight, still looking for written confirmation: the Chancellor of Berkeley discussing the "patriotic" memorial on campus tomorrow and laughing off the "rumors" that they had not wanted red, white and blue, the National Anthem, and other American symbols that might annoy someone.
The California Patriot, a conservative school paper, reported this last week, and it was widely reported nationwide. The Chancellor began to backpedal soon afterwards.
Now, Berkeley is apparently trying to make like nothing like this ever was considered, and that the whole thing was the product of some fevered imaginings on the part of the "Patriot" staff.
So, is the staff of the "Patriot" full of horseapples, or is this another leftist attempt to rewrite reality, like the cheers greeting Hillary on the DVD?
"I didn't do it, nobody saw me do it, you can't prove a thing" --Berkeley Chancellor
