Mozart worldwide
For those of you who missed this, New Zealand has already begun the worldwide cycle of the singing and playing of Mozart's Requiem, which will be sung and played in 25 time zones around the world by volunteer choirs and musicians beginning at precisely 8:46 AM, local time, on September 11.
For details, please visit rollingrequiem.org, or go to npr.org for an interview with the person who originally thought of the Requiem as a tribute and how the idea grew to encompass the world.
