On Sept. 12th we will have just come out of mourning for our dead on Sept. 11th's anniversary. But as Bush speaks at the UN on Sept. 12th we will still have other things to mourn. We will be mourning the erosion of our civil liberties, the environment, a woman's right to choose, social security, help for the poor and disadvantaged, corporate responsibility, and government surpluses turned into deficits. And soon, if Bush and his cowboy cadres have their way, we will be mourning the dead and displaced in a misguided war in Iraq which will cause greater instability in the world, probably lead to more terrorism on our soil, and therefore more death and destruction.
