Preparedness is not the same as a full blown attack. The U.S. has set what is to be done with Iraq. The U.N. is now to make a choice. Iraq is now to make a choice. The U.S. shows that they have already made a choice. It is now up to the other players to either fall in line, or step aside -- and international politicking continues as usual.

Meanwhile, our fighting forces are brought on-line. At the moment, this is nothing more than a show of determination. The people are briefed on strategies. The logistics are in place. The machine of war is shown to be healthy, and alert.
