Re: The power of Introverts
I have often wondered why people who come on like freight trains always say, "I'm basically shy" or "I'm really an introvert".
I think it's because while they are nervous interacting they are more nervous not interacting and after a short while move in and try to take over. That, and while they are afraid of attention, they like it more than they are afraid.
It's fun to watch a performer on stage claim to be an introvert. It's possible, I suppose, but they had a drive to perform and learned how. I don't believe 'em.
