MANILA
A bomb rocked the Philippine consulate office in Manado, Indonesia, on Saturday night, a few hours before two explosions tore through tourist areas on Indonesia's resort island of Bali, Philippine Foreign Secretary Blas Ople said Sunday.
Initial reports from the Philippine Embassy in Jakarta said that one or more unidentified people threw a bomb at 6:45 p.m. Saturday, which landed just outside the gate of the Philippine Consulate General in Manado.
