Since rolling into seven Palestinian cities and towns in June, Israeli forces now have pulled back to the outskirts of Jenin and Bethlehem, but still remain in the other five.

JERUSALEM -- AP
Four Israeli soldiers were wounded Saturday when the bomb they were placing at the front door of a Palestinian's home to force it open exploded prematurely, the army and Palestinian witnesses said.

The army was arresting Palestinians they said were wanted by Israel's security service. Most of the arrests took place in Balata Refugee Camp east of Nablus.

The soldiers were trying to enter the home of Amir Thoqan, who was not at home, according to his brother Sharif, who was inside the house at the time. None of the four soldiers was injured seriously, the army said. They were evacuated shortly after the incident.

The front doors of 15 houses were damaged by explosions, camp residents said.

Also Saturday, Palestinian Information Minister Yasser Abed Rabbo said a Palestinian delegation would meet with U.S. Assistant Secretary of State William Burns in Jericho on Thursday.

"It takes us more than two hours to cross this checkpoint," said Ramallah college student Hamada Salah. "This is inhuman, against innocent people, the only reason they do this is because we're Palestinian."

Really reaching here. By this same argument, waiting 2 hours to ride a rollercoaster at Cedar point is inhumane.

Reporters. Ya gotta love ‘em.

The obvious and displayed hatred on both sides in the region will continue only until it is gone,
