Anyone drive Ford Crown Vics or Merc. Marquis?

The ultimate, utilitarian government car has gotten a well needed shield for the fuel tank.
So many govt. agencies use these that there will be a flood of vehicles in local dealerships and govt. service bays for the next couple of months.
Ford did this for the govt. because it was cheaper than a recall of ALL these vehicles - but private vehicles are just as vulnerable.
