Thanks to dan for direction me to the main current forum... I posted about this subject from a few days back & Dan mentioned I might get better feedback if I posted here so pardon a copied post:

I came across this site doing a search to find out more about this sniper. I have to say I am surprised that there isn't more of a hoopla being made about it - the way the media is today anyway....
Has anyone heard anything about something French being written on the back of that taro card (before this information on the deserter was released)? I have a friend that remembers hearing something like this. Also - on just the tinniest slim chance that it could possibly be this guy - what is the harm in putting his picture up in the area & seeing if anyone knows him?

An after thought.... even if it's not the sniper it's still a picture of someone that is wanted..... right?
