<First things first.. the French Yugoslav connection is motive enough.. With the news today that the Serb military has been Sadams favorite military supplier adds to that... but I digress.
Now it doesn’t. I need more than rampant speculation to connect make believe dots.
Now... We all know that "Tarot" is a French word.. Games with Tarot cards are still wildly popular in France more-so than in any part of the world...The rumor that the card had French writing still has to be confirmed.
Tarot and palm reading is also widely popular around the DC area. Buying a tarot deck is a simple matter of stopping in at you local cult store.
Authorities indicate that they believe they have heard the snipers voice and say that its heavily accented, origin unknown.
Do you have a link to this?
The letters are a grammar teachers' nightmare; sentence fragment, misspellings which point to English as a second language.
Or just a grammar teachers' nightmare.
Lastly, as I write they are searching a house in Northern Washington state, a quick jot at best from the Canadian border. House belongs to ex military guy. probably gun dealer.
Connect it.
The AWOL French sniper told friend he was going to Canada.
Bad connect. Since he is missing, I say he is either injured, dead, or has skied to an undisclosed location, which could be anywhere where he would not be found.
I strongly believe the sniper crossed the boarder, answered a classified gun add, bought his gun, practiced in the back yard of the vet's house, and drove straight to DC.
That’s nice.
The facts say:
* the French is missing a student-sniper
* the missing sniper was a good sniper (i.e., 400 meter kill -- every time)
* this missing sniper is reported to have gone to Canada
* the shooter in DC is a third-rate gun-hack who has difficulty at ranges greater than 100 meters
* the shooter in DC is demanding money
Now, why would a Yugoslav go to North America?
How about simply a better life?
Cheers, and gotta run,
Dan
