DEBKAfile is interesting for its speculations, and has often given me insights that I might have missed. I don't normally rely on their "news" unless I have something from other sources, but some of their stories have turned out correct.
I share your skepticism on the bin Laden story, and would bet good money he's taking a dirt nap. Under a hell of a lot of dirt. It would be hard to hide someone in the Empty Quarter from our reconnaissance capacity, too.
I don't know about DEBKAfile being a Mossad operation, but they are definitely pro-Israel in their bias.
