Well, it's over and it's to Putin's credit.
Ap^parently what triggered it was the killing of 2 hostages by the rebels. The Russian forces inected a sleeping gas into the ventilation system and stormed the theatre.
Some rebels have probably escaped and are running free.
Number of hostage casualties? Still not known.
