The chips
<"all the chips"? What chips. Is there a context in which this might make some sense? The US is attacking Iraq right now, through the Kurds and through "enforcing" the no-fly zone.
In your case the "chips" might be a grain of credibility. As usual, instead of folding, you lay down a trash hand and declare yourself the winner. I think they call that a "four flusher".
(Why doesn't he just throw himself on the mercy of the court?)
