I see your rumor about Mohammed, and I raise you a fact:

I am a registered Republican.

Why? Because I want to be able to cast a meaningful vote in the primaries around here, where so many local elections are decided at the primary level and the registration is overwhelmingly Republican.
Democratic votes count for little, and third-party members and independents can't vote in primary elections at all.

Yet I am nothing like you, except that we are both verbose English-speakers. And probably white, but who can tell?

In fact, I may be very much like other Republicans in this country, quietly voting for Democrats in the privacy of the voting booth...

For you to tie party affiliation to sociopathic behaviors in this way is deceitful and slanderous. Am I to conclude that deceit and slander are pasttimes of Republicans from this behavior? (Of course, I feel like a liar every time I name "Republican" when I vote, so maybe deceit is part of the fabric.)

Am I to conclude (following the same logic) that business people are thieves and liars predicated on the behavior of the executives under endictment and investigation? After all, they all read the same papers.

When you write fiction, label it properly.
