Dudes,

Like the most bodacious thing just happened! The SDAI-Tech1 from February 1988 came back in time in a poll booth to inform the SDAI-Tech1 of 2002 of the outcome of the elections, the Iraq war and all sorts of cool things that are history in 2008.

No way!

Way dudes!

Listen, I know the SDAI-Tech1 you know, like knows all you dudes - I the future me told myself - but I, the SDAI-Tech1 of 1988 like don't even know why I'm called SDAI-Tech1 - like isn't that outrageous? It may have something to do with my journey and concealing my identity and all - but wow, like that's so bogus!

So let me tell you, what the later me wants to tell you about 2008, which I have just returned from - with an unscheduled stop in November 1, 2002! Which is like right now!

First of all the election results for 2002 are most egregious!

The Senate is held by the GOP again with not one seat - but three! The House is still held onto by 15 seats!

As if that is not eminent enough - Jeb Bush is re-elected in Florida - which is important for other reasons which I will divulge later.

Most heinously, Gray Davis wins in California which is why in 2008 it is no longer the awesome place it was when I left on my journey in 1988

The war in Iraq goes most successfully with the only blow it being that Saddam unleashes bioweapons in downtown Bagdad - killing lots of his people and a number of our soldiers.

It turns out Saddam blew it dudes - he did have a nuke which was found in a maze of rooms underneath his palace. Needless to say, Saddam is not around in 2008. But Iraq is a democracy - and in 2008 already has a GDP equal to that of Saudi Arabia.

In 2004 Bush is like totally re-elected! Who runs against him? Like there is this huge battle between Hillary and Gore and Hillary wins. She picks a most outrageous running mate - a man whom you all should know well in 2002, but whom I only know from his most un-excellent reputation in the history books.

Needless to say, after the economy jumps again in 2004, with oil cheaper than ever and the stock market back in five figures, the people are elated with Bush Jr and he gets a resounding 63% of the vote and an electoral landslide.

The "EU" is in big trouble though - weird it didn't even exist when I left! But now member nations are disbanding and saying "This is so bogus!"

Oh, and this is the best part for all you folks from 2002. Global warming is discovered to be a huge USSR plot!

A fellow named Arkady Markin, a Soviet engineer, wanted to dam the Bering Strait and pump Pacific ocean water into the Artic and melt the north pole! He wanted to "thaw out" Siberia and give the USSR much more usable land. He was like turned down by the world community way back in 1958!

Oh but did this stop the commies? Noooo way dudes!

Master scientists calculate a route by which all their submarines, ships and nuclear powered vessels start dumping "hot" radio active waste in an even dispersal program to raise the temperature of the arctic ocean a half degree every five years! By 2008 new US radioactive snooper satellites see this waste and have uncovered this outrageous scheme.

Ice shelves melt and by 2008 Europe already has suffered a serious flood every year for the past six years! What's most bogus is the USSR no longer exists! In its place a divided continent remains. Most ungratifying.

The future me will know all these things after I get back. Maybe that's why I change my name. (I'm bringing back a few key stock names which don't exist yet - but will as well as a XD player a disc player which plays discs the size of a quarter with five trillion tetrabyte capacity. Way cool! It uses SDAI wave encryption technology.

No one knows about time travel in 2008 - so I don't think I should talk about that.

None of this will make much sense. In fact, this highspeed VDSL internet is a radical upgrade to the darpanet I know. Yet next to what I've seen in 2008 - where screens are simply chargedmolecules that hover in the air - this is "old".
