Harvey Pitt
I really don't see anything scandalous about Pitt - he just happens to be a fool, with no political sense at all, and an embarrassment to the Bush administration. Yes, they should dump this loser right away.
When William Webster mentioned that he had chaired the audit committee of a company previously accused of fraud, Pitt may have looked into it and concluded that it wasn't relevant and Webster was still qualified, but it was stupid for Pitt to not even inform the rest of the SEC, nor the Bush advisors who were to endorse Webster for the position.
