Someone will supply the goods and services now offered by WorldCom. If the company went away that might mean a less corrupt operation, maybe more efficient, could take over.
The employees are the only ones who can make the place work, so they would be secure.
Let it go. Distribute the assets to those they screwed, and let someone else have a shot at it.
