Nope, but I haven't watched TV news that much for the last 4 or 5 years. Heard it on NPR, though...

You do know, of course, that very close races have frequently been the subject of recounts, and that this is only seen as poor sportsmanship on the part of some -- not all -- of the supporters of the candidate with the perceived narrow margin of victory. It's considered not only proper, but responsible to do this. Republicans have even been known to ask for a recount.
