You could expand those observations to include the Left as a whole, including our domestic variety, who over the past two decades were dead flat wrong about almost every last thing pertaining to foreign policy, the Soviet Union, our military policy, disarmament, you name it.
Anybody remember unilateral disarmament? The nuclear freeze? No missiles in Europe? No SDI? Cut defense? Abolish the CIA? Had any one of these been carried out, we would probably still be staring down thousands of Soviet missiles.
