Liberals (and conservatives, for that matter) should decide for themselves which wars are good ones and which are bad. The mob mentality that was caused by 9/11 and encouraged by the administration and the Republicans is a very good environment for reaching a warlike consensus. It's a very bad environment for making a considered, rational decision.

I think Frank's post is a good example of the elitism and condescension that Phil thinks is so characteristically liberal.
