Jumping Jimmy Jeffords!

I remember when he switched, the liberal pundits strewed flowers in his path for his integrity, principles, and willingness to do the right thing. The bayonet in the guts of the Republicans who voted him in, and wouldn't have another shot at him for years, was ignored.

Now, if he's willing to switch back, even just in voting, what does this tell the pundits about his glorious integrity? Had he really been the man of principle everyone pretended he was, he would be wearing his "independent" badge proudly, and working with the Democrats in their minority status.

Jeffords is a walking dead man, politically. If this story pans out, it couldn't happen to a nicer guy.
