There is no "left wing conspiracy," unless you count the support the Soviets were pumping into left-wing groups back in the late 1960s, and even then I doubt one group knew that any others were getting such support. The Soviets, of course, knew who was getting everything.

What we have is more of a leftist paradigm, where "everyone knows" that such and such is true or false, like the rich never pay any taxes, or we can't cut taxes because cutting taxes on the rich would wreck the budget. Or interestingly, both at the same time. Name your liberal position, and these people will have accepted it without much thought, like a fish accepts water.

There is no centralized Leftist authority, or a secret network, or "marching orders" given out to the media and such. They just all think a certain way because they were taught to when they were younger. Our universities, currently wildlife preserves for the last of the Red Breasted Commies, have a lot to do with this. Few journalists, teachers, or lawyers get jobs without having been processed through such a school first, usually in their liberal arts departments.

Quick, how many non-college teachers have engineering, math, or other science degrees? How many journalists? How many politicians?
