There's a certain kind of personality that, when they were kids, liked to drop their pants at Auntie's tea party just to hear the old ladies shriek. In later years, this expresses itself in piercings, stupid clothes, tattoos, and hostile politics.
Not that this necessarily applies to anyone here, but one does get the impression that Bowser likes to pull on one's chain for amusement. Lord knows it's tempting to pull people's chains myself sometimes, especially when I infrequently check in on some of the really goofy leftist boards. Only the fact that anything even remotely resembling wit or insight would be totally lost on them keeps me from doing it. At least on this board the leftists can take a good swing at the hot pitches.
