It's horse exhaust. Guaranteed.

I'd love to see the magic catalyst that could rip hydrogen and oxygen loose from a water molecule without a massive energy input. This is bullshit.

Fuel cells have a future in energy storage, but do nothing for energy generation. One of the problems with many renewable energy sources is that they are often intermittent (wind, solar, tidal), and require that energy be stored for "off" periods. A viable technological solution would be using peak power to "crack" hydrogen and oxygen, and store them, then later combine them in fuel cells (very efficient) to generate power during the "off" periods.

If someone ever actually does come up with a magic power source, antigravity, or any other miracle that works using reasonably accessible technology, you would see "Mr. Fusion" packs in the stores within a year. Somehow nobody ever manages to actually build something useful in these scams. At best, some scams will come up with a "demo" device that somehow never gets closely examined by anyone with a brain.
