<”It came shortly after Washington duplicated and handed over copies of the dossier to the other four permanent members of the UN Security Council,”

Wonder why the US is doing the copying and distributing? It’s quite clear GWB wants very, very badly to go to war, to get troops on the ground, and will use any excuse, including these documents, to do that.

It would seem to me that if there were a “smoking gun” in those documents, the other members of the Security Council would want to go back to original copies which had never been in the hands of people who WANT war. That could delay the "coalition".

A puzzlement. Maybe GWB is offering to do that to offset UN dues. Took it to Kinko’s, got a receipt, sent it to Kofi as a demonstration of "good faith" toward catching up.
