It's worth noting that a "forgiven" loan is taxed as income. This I know from experience. Might make you feel a little bit better as you gnash your teeth at the Evil Rich.
It's also worth noting that had Bush, Cheney or any of the other guys you berate for evil business practices had actually done anything illegal, the Democrats would have had them roasting over an open fire by now.
And surely all that money would be put to MUCH better use in the hands of Tom Daschle and Ted Kennedy.
