Sure seems to be a blatant disregard for the welfare of the Republican Party, the Senate, and the United States of America, simply to satisfy his own power urges, just for his own ego gratification.

Rarely do we see true colors fly so high, so wide. No matter what happens, from now on he'll have a hard time ever, even if he resigns, telling anyone he cares about anything but Trent Lott. Well, he won't have a hard time saying it, no one with one neuron to rub against the other will believe it.

Shouldn't gloat. Bad dog!! But damn, we've lost a few.
