I'd rather have a military run PR campaign in allied nations than a CIA led one. Less intrigue - more straightforward.

Let's be honest, the media already wages an anti-US, anti-British campaign even when the latest Bond movie was released. By painting the worst Korean stereotypes conceivable, it has actually been designed to draw fire and controversy in both North AND South Korea.

Controversy sells tickets, generates revenue and wages its own PR battle.

Generating anti-US sympathy is easy. Make us appear like we want to own the worlds oil, control all countries and basically tell everyone what to do...well this sells real well to the international communities and anyone who is not a US citizen.

It seems appropriate in this age of propaganda and uneducated masses who form opinions based on 5 minute sound bites or movies, that the US should wage a US-friendly PR campaign when there is an obvious hate-America plan in motion.

My take on it,
